Emily Francis Klein has always been the mermaid.  She loves everything about the ocean;  An avid surfer she swindled her way to Hawaii (by way of cheerleading) to attend and graduate from Hawaii Pacific University.  Determined to “use that college degree,”   she took employment as a  yacht stewardess, and within a year had logged hours and taken her mate’s certification exam.  She’ll likely be a full captain someday soon, but in the meantime is somewhere in the Caribbean with a line in the water, anxious to grab her board to catch the next set of sweet waves.
